Rock and Pop

rock and roll is dead. too many creed and nickleback copycats that downgraded an allready awful sound. will there ever be a place in music for electric guitars and shouting hooligans again?

I'm thinking about buying a Ibanez RG2EX1 Electric Guitar. I want to play rock, kind of like Nirvana or a lot of the songs from Guitar Hero. I have played classical and acoustic, but i'm not that good. I like the way rock sounds and the electric guitars.

There have been a few bands who have put out B-side albums that I've absolutely loved, and have made me wonder why the songs didn't make the cut on their original albums. I won't say it's my favorite by them since the early stuff was so groundbreaking, but Nirvana's "Incesticide" was very strong in my humble opinion. There are a couple of tracks on there that are easily some of my favorites by them.

Its not Jimmy Eat World - Sweetness, Zombie Nation - Kernkrarft 400, or AFI - Miss Murder.

Their twin lead guitars were great and melodies like something out of the middle ages. I saw them in concert a long time ago and they were so good musicians.
