ok i heard this track a few weeks back on radio 1,at first i thought it was nickelback really did sound like Chad Kroeger singing the song!,then i listened to a few tunes by nickelback and couldnt find it,maybe never looked hard enough!,the song was quite emotional not a heavy rock tune or anything but you would sorta put it in with rock music!,the song itself would be like limp bizkit behind blue eyes,i hope someone can ID this track for me,thanks

PS,it is not the track chad did with santana!,

Well i just started again to play the guitar. I got a guitar teacher at a great shop the owner is so nice, but my teacher...he's 25 and acts likes hes the best guitar player in the whole wide world, hes dissing syn. from avenged sevenfold and just about everyother guitar player... I practiced my songs that i had to work on...they sounded so good...they he's like well go on to the next songs and he was like gettimg mad cuz i couldnt play them... Plz help me, what should i do??

Thought I'd ask a Modern Bands question for a change, which is pretty difficult for Me to do considering the fact that 99% are talentless dreck. However Coldplay and Evanescence are two of the very few I like
Of the two I prefer Coldplay which is My favorite modern band.
They have several great songs including "Clocks" and "Talk"
But which do You prefer? and why?

Guitar center?
The guitar center employee pissed me off?
yeah i've went in there the past few weeks to try the guitars,and i don't turn up loud,but why waould he freaking stare at me?I called to voice a comp-laint and they said that you can try the guitars for as long as you want(another guy also said that when i was in there before i called to get mad).I'm a good player(have good chops)so it's not like i sucked,but i'm wondering what his problem is?

If I understand rightly, the way in which Lennon and McCartney collaberated on the Lennon/McCartney songs varied. In the beginning a lot of them were really written together. Later it tended to be more that one of them would write a song and the other might finish it or contribute a small portion. Still later their songs were pretty much written separately.

I would like to know how Jagger and Richards wrote the Stones' songs. Did they contribute equally? Did Jagger write mostly lyrics and Richards mostly music? Did the way they collaberated change over time as did Lennon and McCartney?

This is NOT who is the better band, I just want to know who do you prefer. Also provide reasons why you chose that band and your Top 10 songs from that band.

For example, I love both bands, they influenced and created an awesome genre of music, heavy metal. But I prefer the darker and more heavier sound of Black Sabbath. They just sound evil and Ozzy f***in RULEZ!
