- Lemmy's turn at bass WAS the ultimate Hawkwind!!
- Dave Anderson was an A*Hole, John Harrison was solid, but not enough, Paul Rudolph was more of a Funk-bassist, Adrian Shaw was adequate, and Harvey Bainbridge was more of a "fill-in" until they could get another bassist.
Alan Davey is the only one who can match Lemmy's "chops," but the true spirit of Hawkwind lies in its Space Ritual days -- so the nod is obviously Lemmy :-(^)

Is Motorhead a Rock N' Roll band or a Heavy steel band? the respond is definite! i've got continually regarded at Motorhead as being the band who over a recording profession spanning 5 many years has under no circumstances placed out an album coming everywhere even on the factor of mediocre. each little thing they have ever launched is an absolute killer. Lemmy does not care in case you call it Heavy steel. Motorhead is easily the excellent, EVER.

I love Motorhead. Only album I didn't like was Another Perfect Day and the tour that followed it. They just get better and better. Couldn't even try to do a top 10, but I think yours is a great representation of the band.
I did like Lemmy era Hawkwind and felt they lost it after he left.

there are heavier bands than motorhead but they are no wheres close to motorhead's talent level
those bands overdistort their sound to cover up their lack of skill
