Like you could have really loved a band if it wasn't for the lead singer cause he/she annoyed the heck out of you?

For me, David Lee Roth just ruined Van Halen for me and Axl Rose ruined GN'R for me.

i like mcr but i dont understand why everyone hates them so much......i mean who cares if ppl say they r emo and they say they rn't
music is about... well MUSIC not about genre, and well the songs rnt soo bad they have good rythm good lyrics gerard has a good voice and the videos r ok
and the guys seem really nice........whats wrong with them

mine - i just got in rainbows, but hadnt listened to it, i was stick in school all day thinking about it. as soon as i leave school i see this extremely bright rainbow right in front of me in the sky. you couldnt miss it, it was surreal. i was like ahhh get me home enough teasing i need it now!

i would like them to be kind of touching or inspirational also. i would prefer there to be a story behind it.

or, if there are any good christian rock bands that you like, feel free to share. not too hard rock, i would like upbeat bands.
(upbeat for band suggestions, not the song that tells a story.)

I'm tryin to get into some more Christian music, but I have NO idea where to start... I like KoRn, Spineshank, Evanescence, Flyleaf, Slipknot, that kind of thing.. But i'm trying to move away from all (or most) of that. Does anyone have any suggestions on some bands I could check out? Thanks!
