I only know one line of the lyrics and I think it is an older rock song. It's pretty slow, but not a slow song and a man sings it.:

"She's a good girl, who's crazy 'bout Elvis."

And it says shes a good girl alot in the song.

I'm looking for a song, but don't know any lyrics, I just know the beat. I heard it around 2001. Can anyone give me names of rap songs that use oriental sounds or Indian music sounds in the background, for example, songs that sound like:

Suga free- Why U Bullsh*ting,
Nas -QB Finest- oochie wallie,
Jay Z, Panjabi MC- Beware of the boys
Trina - B R Right,
Keith Murray- yeah yeah you know it,
Truth Hurts- Addictive,
etc.

PLEASE HELP!

A member didn't die or move on from the band.

One that comes to mind is Andrew Wood of Mother Love Bone

I have an informational speech to present in a few weeks. I'm urged to talk about a person. I love music, so I've come up with the following people to use as my topic. I want to keep my audience interested, who would you want to hear an informational speech about?

1. Freddie Mercury
2. Jim Morrison
3. Bob Marley
4. Janis Joplin

(If you have a suggestion that is not listed, please list it.)

I appreciate it! Thank you.

Wax Trax! Records - Arguably had the best lineup of any indie label, they were just loaded with KMFDM, Underworld, Rev Co, Thrill Kill Kult, etc. This label was the pride of Chicago and made the city the industrial music capital of the world. Wish they were still in existence.

Epitaph Records - I could have easily gone with Dischord, but this was such an amazing success story. They might be embarrassed by the fact that they still hold the record for the greatest amount of sales by an indie release. That would be Smash by The Offspring, a band that they are no longer on good terms with.

Cleopatra Records – The best Gothic label of all time.

Ever looked at pandora.com? It's a site that makes you a custom radio station by analyzing the features of a particular song or band that you seed it with.

If you could only choose one song to base your station on, which one do you thing best demonstrates the essence of what you love in music?

No cheating please - one song only . . .

Something heavy or Gothic, pref. with some female vocals, dark and atmospheric, catchy songs, oiriginal but also comfortably traditional. Not too much widdling. Nothing boring where all songs sound the same. Double bass drums and some guitar solos. I like bands like Paradise Lost, Within Temptation etc. sort of Gothic Metal.
