I am a child of the 80's and to this day, a lover of the music. Duran Duran, Bryan Adams, Men at Work, Bon Jovi (Wanted Dead or Alive!), Pat Benetar, REM, Billy Idol,just to scratch the surface but I was amazed to see how many of the 80’s musicians were dead! OK, I knew about Robert Palmer but, Michael Hutchence from the group INXS?!?! Stuart Adamson the lead singer from that group Big Country (In a Big Country), The drummer from Toto, Falco, (not “Rock me Amadeus!”), Dan Hartman, Patty Donahue of The Waitresses (I Know What Boys Like!) Laura Branigan! Please don’t tell me there are more - I cry easily :)

PLEASE DON'T OFFEND. I am looking for advice, NOT debate or criticism.

I am given a choice by my teacher. I am to play one of the pieces from the Miroirs suite by Ravel or Ondine from Gaspard de la nuit. Which one would be a wise choice? because I love all of them and I want to choose one that demonstrates expression and a level of virtuosity; one that will be a serious part of my repertoire in the future because these pieces are difficult and are gonna take me soooooo much time. I would appreciate it if you explain your reasoning.

A friend of mine recently had a Marshall JCM 900 amplifier (head only) stolen from his warehouse. The distinguishing characteristics are that the heat vent panels on the top of the amplifier are "worn to rounded" (instead of square), and that his initials (I believe they are "MLS") are written in "Sharpie" pen on the inside of the amplifier. I do not have the serial number available to me yet. The amp was stolen from a Green Bay, Wisconsin location. If you see an amplifier that fits this description it MAY be stolen, so please contact me or your local police department to see about getting it returned to its rightful owner. I recently bought a brand new oboe (Buffet brand) around May. I've been taking extremely good care of it ever since. However I've noticed today that my Eb key seems to be broken! When ever I press it, it remains down and doesn't go back up. I am very desperate since all my D now sound like Eb. Can it still be under warranty? If it is, will it take long for the people to fix it? Can I do anything to adjust the key? Also, if I send it to fix somewhere else, how much would it approx. cost? Advaice is greatly apreciated! Thanks alot!

1-no title, no artist (artist is a female, or maybe several females I can't tell whether it's one artist but voice treated with chorus effect or not)
2- i used to listen to it in the 90s but it may be from the 80's i can't be sure.
3- i can barely remember some words or phrases: "true eyes" or "true lies"...... "oooooh you're the only one make my dreams come true" ...." and you ... into two" ......." you don't think the way i do" (the real words may be similar in pronunciation to these so be aware)
4- female sings while few guitars (not electric) fills the background. and fills between song verses. there is also a whistle instrument which supports the guitar.
