Hip Hop and Rap are a generational music and will eventually die out like most other styles. Why hasn't any new form of music been invented and come along like it has in the past and with other generations? Sometimes new music would come along co-existing with the present music.

Hip hop isn't supposed to be all watered down like it is today. You take a guy like jeezy, he's supposed to be rhyming about moving crack and ****, but his lyrics are so milquetoast they don't reflect the rugged reality. the **** is being filtered and censored by the record labels, they push **** that makes topics that are supposed to be offensive and thought-provoking and rugged, they make these topics look mundane and acceptable. That ain't reality rap. That ain't what The Chronic was about, N.W.A., Wu-Tang Clan, etc.

The RZA of Wu Tang says:
"Hip-hop is just unbalanced. Right now, rappers are glorifying their hell. How you gonna tell me it's cool to live in the ghetto? Who wants to live where you got rats, roaches, pissy elevators, shootings, killings, rapings, drug addicts, alcoholics, all in a four block radius?"

I lived in the "hood" for a couple years because that is the only place I could go. But anyways I picked up the habit of listening to rap and although I hardly can relate to anymore the atmosphere it projects though its energized style appeals to me. What type of feeling do you get from rap meaningless or meaningful lyrics just the genre as a whole?

Constructive critizism is okay. You can talk junk about any genre of music. Most music is complaing of some sort or bragging so thats why I look to the whole of the music instead of focus on whoever is doing the b1tching in the song.

A couple of minutes ago I posted a question where I said that I feel that Lil Boosie is the best rapper alive and I asked who else agrees. Not a single person agreed with me and a couple of the people who answered apparently think they know everything there is to know about hip hop, but no matter! So now I'm asking you to be honest and tell me who you think the best rapper of all time is. Don't fall into the trap of saying Tupac or Biggie or Nas or Jay Z because everybody else is saying it. Say who you truly feel is the best mc to rock the mic.

i put new strings on and then in 2-3 weeks they dont have that smooth slide feeling. like they have a bit of friction on them, like they were rusty. its usually on the top 3 strings. other guitars at the guitar store i play, feel smooth and when sliding up/down the frets, the strings feel nice.
is it the fretboard that is sort of contaminating the strings with the rust? how do i prevent this the next time i buy a new set of strings?
