I loved it and started collecting all of his early music, and even went to a concert of his in OKC with my mom. All my friends thought I was so dorky! Does any one else out there love Prince? His music is so not my generation but I still love it!

Whatever...Prince is awesome regardless of how old you are. He is a legend and his music is timeless. Im 19 and happen to love music from Earth, Wind and Fire, Temptations, Delfonics, Rose Royce, Rick James. There is no age on god music.

Yes, you should be. If you watched the movie eight years ago, you should be the age of twenty now. Time continues to flow at a normal pace, and even Prince, with awe-inspiring guitar solos and an unspeakable name that give him a power that rivals the ancient gods, cannot defy the very laws of the universe.
If, however, you saw "Purple Rain" at the age of twelve while travelling 0.2c relative to The Artist, you would be 19.3 years old now according to the laws of special relativity. Hope that helps!

I have been a die-hard fan of Prince too, since I was 12 in 1978. I am 41 now and still love him just as much!
I have albums galore from when they made albums. I had to adjust to cd's and their cost. Albums then were like 5 bucks at most. I have been to no less than 10 concert tours of his. Have alot of his tv appearences on vhs tapes. Every, I think, movie he's ever made. I hope to see one more concert tour of his before he decides enough is enough.

I'm probably one of his biggest fans!!! I absolutely LOVE Prince!! I grew up listening to him since I was born ( born in 1979). He's such a musical genius! He's is my main influence on my upcoming music career.
