Hip Hop and Rap are a generational music and will eventually die out like most other styles. Why hasn't any new form of music been invented and come along like it has in the past and with other generations? Sometimes new music would come along co-existing with the present music.

People have been talking about the death of rap almost as long as they have been talking about the death of rock n roll. It won't really 'die' it will just fade. Lets face it Beethoven is still popular among some circles (and rightfully so).

I don't think it will die out, it will definitely evolve. A new style or form of hip hop will be born. That style will become popular then saturated. Then history will repeat itself. It happens again and again. It's a musical trend that is constantly repeated.
