in the 90's I heard a song and all I can remember is "Everything's so Complicated". Those words seem to have just stuck in my head till now and I never payed attention to it till now. Have any ideas on what I'm talking about? Probably on a top-40 station around '96.

I am confused about whether I should replace my EMG 81 pickup set with a Gibson 57 Classic Humbucker and Gibson BurstBucker Pro Humbucker Pickup, I am not even sure if I can apply them on my guitar, the following is some of the main things that I would like the pickups to be compatible with

-My Guitar: ESP LTD Ax-400

-The Music I ussually play: Neo-psychedelic rock, Heavy Metal, Hard Rock, and Rock 'n' Roll in general.
-Artists I am influenced by and like to play: Wolfmother, Metallica, AC/DC, Linkin Park, Incubus, Led Zeppilin Jimi Hendrix, Marylin Manson, Motorhead, and System of a Down (These artist were NOT arranged by there level of how much I like them).
-I am the lead guitarist in a neo-psychedlic and old school rock band (We are not old school, our tastes are).

And if there is any other pick up that would be more compatible with the previous feel free to add it to your answer please.

I have been composing music for a long time; nothing like teen angst or pop, just good old classical and contemporary music (stuff like George Winston). I am interesting in some contests for high school age composers, and I was wondering if anyone knew a few contests I could enter for scholarship money and cash prizes. Thankyou so much! What are some good psychadelic rock bands? It'd be awesome if they have songs incorporating Indian styles or Hindi, or are just 60's/70's like and psychadelic. Could be British, American, Australian, etc. Anything, really. And i don't care if they're current or not.
