IN mexico and south america, american music is sooo popular, they listen to it even if they don't understand a word of it. But i don't see much of this happening in America. I never hear any non hispanic American or Asian american person or African american listening to mexican music. And i don't mean shakira, and enrique iglesias stuff which is pushed on by MTv. I mean, mariachi music, or Mexican ballads, or Tejano music or whatever else.

Honestly i have never ever met any American who listens to it. I know, however, many Americans like japanese music especially if they are anime freaks or jpop freaks. So why is it americans have no interest in hispanic music...as much as south american countries have interest in American music?

My brother's 13th birthday is coming up and he really likes rock music! I want to get him a rock CD, but I don't know what kind to get him! I don't want a CD that has a lot of 'bad' words in it (he's only gonna be 13)! A 'bad' word here and there is okay, I just don't want every other word to be 'bad'!
