I need to get a start on my djing career, any tips?

It depends on how far you want to take your DJing career, if you are at the very very beginning, I would say the best is to buy a mint set of turntables off of Ebay at a lower price, you save a lot and for practicing its not important to have the latest/newest turntables.
The most important part about playing is not the turntables but the collection of music. If you already are a mid/profi DJ, go with Technics turntables, they will last you a lifetime if taken care of.
