My brother's 13th birthday is coming up and he really likes rock music! I want to get him a rock CD, but I don't know what kind to get him! I don't want a CD that has a lot of 'bad' words in it (he's only gonna be 13)! A 'bad' word here and there is okay, I just don't want every other word to be 'bad'! Thanks for all the answers in advance...

You should introduce him to the classics. How about the Who? Their music rocks, and your brother can still feel connected to new rock music since they are currently on tour and just came out with a new cd. I wouldn't get the new one, though. Go with Baba O'Reilly or Tommy, or even a greatest hits cd to sort of familiarize him with their different sounds over the years. There might be a few "bad" words here and there, but overall nothing too bad. Hope this helps.

MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE the black parade, however it does have a couple of bad words, but its a great cd.
another one i would recommend Nickelback- all the right reasons . it doesnt have explict content on the cd cover. even though i did here him say the A word a couple of times.
last would be the fray- how to save a life. but thats if hes into that slow rock.
or just get him one of his favorite band. thats what i would do.

Any Metallica CD is good. It depends on what type of Rock hes into.

That's really a wide open question, depends on the kind of rock he likes, old or new? But anywho there isn't a true rocker around who should be without AC/DC's Mega classic "Back in Black" ask your dad... lol

Maybe you can get him cds from MY chemical romance, Panic at the Disco, etc. Those aren't bad.

You can buy any rock CD you want. If you buy it from Walmart, the bad words are edited out.

Get him Green Day's American Idiot if he doesnt already have it. If he doesnt like Green Day then sorry for my sugestion. there are a little swear words...12 on the whole 13 songs...but not bad at all. It is very good. its aproximately 18$ in an hmv.
