However in the chorus, there's a girl singging R&B music that kind of sounds like Beyonce.

I'm making a robot costume and I am looking for alternatives to buying expensive voice changers that people use for Stormtroopers, Daleks, etc. I know the best way to get a robot voice is through a vocoder but it seems non are battery powered. So I was wondering if I could use a robot guitar pedal for my voice.
