I love that song!!Dixie chicks rock!I have a question,why were they banned from singing for 3 years.What did they say about Bush in 2003?Did they make a song about the war in Iraq in 2003 or what?

I also have another question,the title of the song is strange,why wasn't it( ready to be nice) 'cause I have never heard of make nice in my entire life.Any explanation?

I watched the Sunday repeat of Top Gear on BBC2 last night and want to know the song featured when Hammond was cruising down the road in his pick-up. It's an old country & western song - the only lines I can remember are 'I am a (driver?) for the county' and 'won't you stay (here?) for a while'. I know it's not much info to go on but I'd appreciate any help. Thanks.
