I watched the Sunday repeat of Top Gear on BBC2 last night and want to know the song featured when Hammond was cruising down the road in his pick-up. It's an old country & western song - the only lines I can remember are 'I am a (driver?) for the county' and 'won't you stay (here?) for a while'. I know it's not much info to go on but I'd appreciate any help. Thanks.

It's called Wichita Lineman, by Glenn Campbell. Also covered by Urge Overkill, whose memorable cover of 'Girl, You'll Be A Woman Soon' appeared on the Pulp Fiction soundtrack.
