I believe you are referring to the song "Through Glass" from their album "Come What(ever) May." Most of the lyric database websites show lyrics without the line:
"And it's the dark eyes
The dark eyes that lie to you"
and instead show...
"And it's the stars
The stars that shine for you
And it's the stars
The stars that lie to you."
Many times artists record the same song with slight differences, so the fact that the lyrics of "Through Glass" are "changed" is not uncommon.
