There was a commercial I believe it was for Citi Bank that ran around beginning of 2006..it featured a Chinese man cutting this piece of paper and this very beautiful classical music was playing...I just got goosebumps because my great grandfather use to play something similar on the piano..does anyone know what song that is or where I can see that commercial?? I'm 18 and I'm interested in learning the bass guitar. I took about 6 years of piano but I quit about 4 years ago and I haven't played it since. Although, I took 6 years of piano I was taught no music theory and I feel I am basically musically inexperienced. I want to learn the bass guitar but I don't want to take lessons. Would it be possible for me to learn from just books and DVDs? Any suggestions on titles? I feel I need something very detailed and specific. Also, I am not the most coordinated person in the world. Is this a bad idea?
