1. It is ALWAYS in Palm Springs. Palm Springs is in the Coachella Valley, hence the name of the festival.
2. No, U2 is not playing Coachella.

I am excited to see: Bjork, Interpol, J&MC, Jarvis Cocker, Sonic Youth, Faithless, DJ Shadow, Brazilian Girls, Peaches, felix da Housecat, Arcade Fire, Tiesto, Decemberists, Good/Bad/Queen, Travis, LCD Soundsystem, Ozomatli, Fountains of Wayne, Jack's Mannequin, Happy Mondays, Air, Paul van Dyk, Placebo, Kaiser Chiefs, the Roots, Crowded House, !!! and Infected Mushroom.

Only losers and dirty hippies camp out. Smart people find out when Coachella is scheduled and book cheap rooms at at Motel 6 months in advance. Then they can get wasted with their friends indoors with a/c!

I heard about choachella, i think last years took place at the palm springs, i was not there, my older brother went to see it, and my younger bro. i think U2 will be there this year, young jock, korn, slipknot, and three days grace. and a bunch of other bands
