Does anyone remember the hip hop version of this song? I think at the competition part of the song they are "scratching" instead of playing the fiddle. I just can't remember the name of the group.

I'm not sure what instrument I should play. I really like how the violin sounds. It has so much emotion in it and a note can be held for a long time, but then I heard how a violin solo sounds and I'm not too sure anymore. Maybe the player was just really bad. When I hear someone play the violin by themselves, it always sounds different from another person who played that same song, but the piano always sounds the same.

I love the violin, but does it sound bad without an orchestra and just ONE violin? I really like the piano too and I think it would be much easier to learn. There are a lot of songs I love on the piano.

Also, does playing the violin ruin your hands? I'm an artist and that concerns me. Please let me know. Thanks!
