I've never listened to jazz before, but I was recently introduced to Pat Metheny Group. I like them a lot, but I've noticed aside from Metheny's guitar I really enjoy when the trumpet is featured. Based on this, what other similar artists/trumpeters should I check out?

Approximately 15 seconds in, a guy says (paraphrasing) "Yo! Y'all know what this is ... so ... so ... def!" I've heard that same thing said by the same person in at least one other song, but I don't know who he is. Any ideas?

I heard that Red Jumpsuit Apparatus are going to tour Australia in April and that the support band wil be New Found Glory. tourdates haven't been released. the band did release a myspace bulletin saying they would be coming to australia this year...

great song!!.. the lyrics in it 'Somewhere along in the bitterness' don't sound anyting like it, I looked these up on the net and several different sites that display lyrics and they all same the same thing but it sounds nothing like 'bitterness' does anyone know another word it could be? They were a very important band, a great live show, just plain fun to listen to, and tackled every genre out there. They were definately the most prominent of the punk rock movement and besides the original innovators (Iggy Pop, Sex Pistols, the Ramones etc.) the most important. I feel pretty passionate about 70's punk and the Clash especially, just seeing who shares those sentiments.

And by fan I mean you know more than "Rock The Casbah" and "Should I Stay Or Should I Go". Besides they're last album (which was hardly the Clash anyways) they put out much better material and most of it is very underrated, including their entire first album (best punk album ever released, no contest).
