It has been a dream of mine forever to start a rock band, something with music like Godsmack, maybe Slipknot or even like Nickelback. I'm trying to learn the guitar, but I'd really want to be the singer. Does anyone know how to best go about starting a band like this?

I am not sure if the song is new or not but, I have heard it on the country station quite a few times lately. I thought it may be called "A little bit of life" - searched that with no luck. Some of the lyrics are " a little bit of you a little bit of me a little bit of how it's supposed to be a little bit of life" it also says a little bit of back porch a little bit of swing......something about working all day and homemade wine...I dunno - it's driving me nuts though! Ok, bare with me, I only know this part of the song..."a shelf in the room"? lol I think that's what they say. But it's a guy singing, and it kinda sounds like an alice n chains song, but it's not, it's more recent I believe.
