I read recently that the singer Morrissey had been investigated by the FBI. Does anyone know whether this is true and why the investigation took place?

He claims they investigated him after he spoke out against Bush and the British government over the war in Iraq.

I think it was because they suspected him of involvement in white supremacist politics after he foolishly appeared on stage with a Union Jack wrapped around him and sang a song about "pakis" owning all the shops.
He has always been a ****, mind ... I mean .... Gladioli???

yeah he was a while back, think it was just a comment he made, not sure of the details,you know how he is.
have a look on morrisseysolo.com they'll be able to tell you along with what he ate for breakfast the day before. scary.

yes he was investigated for being a russian spy and is now under constant watch
