I'm trying to compile a CD of really good kickin' country songs. I'm not looking for sad, slow songs. I want upbeat songs that you can throw on at a party. I love old and new country both. I've got the obvious Hank, Jr., David Alan Coe, Mel McDaniel, CDB, etc. There must be a million good tunes out there but it's hard to remember them all - can y'all help??

I was listening to the radio the other day, and they were playing Christmas songs. There is a really beautiful one that was recorded by Glen Campbell. I checked the radio station's web page, and all they had listed was Glen Campbell (no title of the song was listed). I called the station, and the radio announce said it was his version of "Home for the Holidays." But when I listen to the lyrics, that song appears to be different.
If this is any help, one of the main recurring choruses in the song is "There's No Place Like Home." If anyone cal tell me the title and/or which album it's on I would appreciate it. Thanks.

The only words I can remember are "Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh , oh, oh, oh, oh, ooooohhhh". That's like in the middle of the song. It's a male singer with a female in the begining of the song talking about leaving him or something. Throughout the song he's sings "oh, oh, oh", and then explodes to all the "oh's" I typed earlier. It's a slow jam....I can't find it and I'm mad. Someone said it was a Lenny Kravitz song, but I haven't found any of his songs that sound anything like that! HEEEELP! Thanks in advance.

I am a huge fan of U2. Green Day sicken me. When they were performing "the Saints are Coming" I couldn't stand how Green Day seemed to be riding the coattails of U2. I myself didn't like them performing together. Did the bands do the perfoemance/record for money, love, or both?What do you think?

I play the flute and have been playing for about four years now, but I'm not very good at it, but then I saw this Jazz Band and I noticed that one girl in my secion of flute also plays the Sax in the Jazz, and my question is, should I play Sax in Jazz band and Flute or just play flute for the rest of my life?
