What a neat question, let me see....I love the sounds of nature...so I'd invent an instrument that sounds like the ocean...or rain at night coming down softly plus birds singing .....or thunder off in a distance. Now what would my instrument be made of. In order to make it real. It would take a "stage" with lots of natural objects and people to play them. For the ocean it would be a huge commercial fan...that you could feel the force..then for rain...I'd have a container way up overhead that had a timer that controlled the drips of water coming out into a tin pan, for the sound effects. Birds ....I'd take two pieces of wood and rub them together for a squeaking sound....hey nothing comes easy....lol enjoyed the question.
