i really want to know this song but i dont know any of the words all i know is its an oldy by grateful dead or jimi hendrix (not sure may be someone else) starts on a low beat and changes into a whole different upbeat later on in the song and it has basically the same beat as the grateful dead song cocaine

Kathy Matea sings a song, which I think this is the premise...
an elderly couple, it starts off with how they met, and ends up with one of them dying. Very sad song. It may have been written about her grandparents, not sure.

I would like to know the name and artist of a particular song. It came out this year. It's one guy singing, but it sounds like he's whispering. It's a song you would here at the bar/club. I think some of the lyrics are "....I want to see you drip sweat", "Shake those hips , run girl" Its got a weird beat to it...the music isn't from actual insturments rather electronic. If there is anyone out there that listens to techno and can help me find the name of a song I'll hook ya up with 10 points for the first correct best answers.
Ok I heard a song over a year ago and I can't get it out of my head.

I know jimmie Hendrix said the song "purple haze" was about a dream he had and not about drugs but i find this a little hard to belive after reading the lyrics.

it really sounds like this songs about herb or acid or somthing and he just told the press some BS answer.
