I might be able to get an American Special 2005 HSS, the crimson red one with mahogany and tex mex/humbucker pickups. What would be a good price for one of these? Thanks.

I have bought about 6 guitars on ebay, go there and compare. It will give you a good idea what its worth.

the only two good fenders are a Telecaster and the P-bass. Then it is gibson all the way. Gibson used to make the better guitar. I have no idea why they are so costly a this time. In 1990, I bought a new les paul for $850.

You could find that same guitar and for low prices...
