I saw on Channel V Chinese an acoustic song performed by a guy (rather old and not handsome). I don't understand Chinese. The video is all about the guy playing acoustic guitar. The melody of the song is very easy to listen. I think it's a new video.

do you think it would be better if he did a slow type song (heal the world etc)
or an uptempo one (e.g smooth criminal, blood on the dancefloor etc)
or a stop bitching about me (e.g scream)

I've got a yamaha YPT-300 and the acoustic guitars are actually believable, but the samples for "distorted guitar" and "overdriven guitar" are just crap. It's really not just the tonal qualities of the sample, it's the fact that every time you hit the same key you get the same sound. On a guitar, you can play one note over and over and it'll sound a bit different every time. So do any keyboards actually have the ability to sound like electric guitars? I've heard the tyros 2 and i'm only mildly impressed by that. It just baffles me because they can sounds like anything else!
