I watch Oprah last week, adn before I saw the show I heard on teh radio station that Matthew Knowles, Beyonce's dad told the producers that if they let Jennifer Hudson sing on the show, then he will not let Beyonce come on the show. So when I watch Oprah the only person that song from the movie were Beyonce. If the show is about 3 characters then why did only 1 character from show sang a song.

I'm 18 and I was wondering if there are any people around my age who are mostly into old music?

I'm talking from the days of Bessie Smith on up to the days of Billie Holiday and Ella fitzgerald up to the days of Sam Cooke and Marvin gaye to the days of Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix. Joe Cocker, Tina Turner, Diana Ross, Lynard Skynard, all this old music. I like some of today's stuff, but I really admire all the old stuff. My interest really stops at the mid-90s.

A friend of mine recently helped me obtain a training placement abroad for 6 months. I have made a slideshow on a DVD of my time there, and want to send it to him to show him. Has anyone got any clever particular songs that I could use to accompany it. Quite upbeat, but clever to go with the purpose of thank you.

How do I set up a music stand for my 10 year old daughter? It's her first year in band and she pulled the stand out of the box that I bought her and there are no instructions. I know to attach the skinny round pole into the base but once I get the top part on the big bulky thing in the middle doesn't fold down to hold her music. HELP!! Please? What am I doing wrong?
