I never learned how to read music..i mean the notes, A and C and all of those are just like a pretty alien language to me...so, if anyone could perhaps recommend me a book on learning how to play a guitar, with the really basic stuff about music, like what the notes mean..and what are called and things like that, i would really, really appreciate it. =D

I don't like all of them, but I do like songs like Beyonce's irreplacable, Neyo's sexy love and so sick. And i really like alot of alicia keys's music.

Does that make me less of a man? I like other music too.
:)

I was poking around some webcam sites and came upon a bit of a homemade video... anyway not the point! The point is the author used a song to soundtrack the video and I have to say it is a bit catchy. Can anyone tell me the name of the song?! It actually doesn't sound like any language is spoken but at some instances it does sound like she's saying SOMETHING.

WARNING: The above link is in fact to a bit of a porno. So beware. Minimize the window or something if you don't want to watch it... all I care about is the song.

Who does the best version of this great song? Roberta Flack, Al B. Sure, or the Fugees? Also, do you think this is a great slow dance song? I do.

It seems to me that it should be relatively easy to create a program that would allow someone to enter some numbers, and create an instant melody, but I'm not musically inclined myself to know how to accomplish this. Music is just a bunch of numbers, but substituted with letters, right? So, why can't someone just start entering digits - like 2, 16, 3, 3, 5, 8, and so on - and then hit playback, and see what it sounds like. Then, you could fine tune it by changing some numbers until it sounds right. Anybody could do it, and the world would be inundated with thousands of melodies.
