Doesn't matter what decade. I have a lot written down now, but I'm sure I missed some classics, or some recent songs. Here's an idea of my preference: Marvin Gaye, Alicia Keys, Floetry, Kem, Seal, Walter Beasley, Gerald Albright, Gladys Knight, Prince, Enya, Yanni,etc...

I'm composing some music to listen to when me and my Fiance want to relax, wind down, enjoy moments...you get the point.

Ya I play in a black metal band and I want a black guitar. I looked at some on ebay but couldn't really find what I wanted. I've tried Strait Music, Music123, Musician's Friend, no one seems to help. Now, I've seen black guitars before, but when I say black I really mean BLACK!!! I want this guitar so black that it blends into your mom's face. I know that's asking for alot but all i'm really asking for is BLACK. Any musicians/guitar players who can give me some help deciding on what guitar to buy my hubby for Xmas??? He is in a band and I would like to add to his guitar collection. I am not looking to spend more that $1300/1400 max! I was looking at the Gibson Les Paul Vintage Electric which is on sale for $800 or a John Mayer Signature Stratocaster. Any help, advice, and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Will I need just a general music degree? Then how do I go about becoming a conductor? It's not like someone is going to hand over their orchestra and let me lead it. So I'll need to get a degree, form an orchestra.... and then what? Is this a hard project?
