It just leaked onto the internet last night... He has a song on it called "dr. advocate" where he appologizes to the Dr. and some what to 50. If anyone wants it leave a reply and I'll email it to you tonight. But has anyone heard and liked it?

I was wondering about how Glenn Tipton achieves his certain guitar tone. What I'm talking about is the HIGH frequency notes that seem to be behind everything he plays, almost like a 2.5 fret harmonic is being played along with the same note. The easiest place to hear this is from the opening riff in Electric Eye. Every note sounds 'thin,' but every single note he hits has that squeel to it.

(I know KK downing often plays the opening riff in concerts, but he doesn't use that sound, his guitar is more like Dave Murray)

Okay. Let me just say that I am not a typical groupie when it comes to musicians. But I attended the Staind and Hinder concert with the sole purpose of seeing Staind although I liked Hinder's "Lips of an Angel." Since the concert, I have developed such an obsession with my Hinder EXTREME BEHAVIOR cd that I can not take it out of the CD player. I even watch the videos of Austin Winkler on my computer and have the Hinder CD cover hanging from my rear view mirror. I just spent 100 bucks on the two concert tickets in Baton Rouge, and now I want to buy more for the concert in Lafayette and drive all the way there. Is this pathetic or what?

Please no answers droning on about how good "Lips of an Angel" is because to tell you the truth, their best song is "Better than Me" or maybe "Get Stoned".

Artists like Boys II Men were once very popular and sang so beautifully....now we have rap artists who don't sing melodies, for the most part they just rap about cars, sex and money. Do you think there will be a day when we can get back to hearing great melodies again?, Remembering talented black artists like Stevie Wonder, Lionel Ritchie and Billy Ocean makes me realize how much has happened in music, We lost something along the way. Does anyone else feel this way? Can anyone give me any black artists that still sing?
