what are the classes like for a music major? I want to become a professional piano player. Do they teach u music theory even though u didn't take it in high school. Will u have to know how to read music at a certain level to major in music?

Just out of curiosity I'm wondering if this stuff I write is lame or actually cool.. Last night I was bummed about stuff and I wrote a sorta sad song to God to let it all out and felt better then... I write stuff alot and once in a while put it to music. What do you think of this song?

some common themes are: being restrained/ unable o do all that one wants. the american dream. forgivement. blurred reality/ fantasy. a freakshow. prisoner of his own mind. war and its brutality.

i know partial of the lyrics and it might not be accurate.

then there's this chorus part that the other guy would just sing...

i've been hearing it back on my country's hard rock, nu metal and several rock selection of music. so assume that its not RnB nor POP.
