I'm a little unclear on the whole Yankee Doodle, feather, hat, & "macaroni" thing.
The popular American song from the 18th century says,

Yankee Doodle came to town
Riding on a pony;
He stuck a feather in his hat
And called it macaroni.
Yankee Doodle, keep it up,
Yankee Doodle dandy;
Mind the music and the step,
And with the girls be handy.

So what did he call "macaroni"?
Was it the hat, the feather, or his horse?
And, more importantly, WHY did he call it "macaroni"?

I've lost a lot of sleep over this one for over 50 years.
It is truly one of the mysteries of the universe.
Why would he call his hat "macaroni"?
.

Could be. (title)

You see me with your eyes closed
Watch me come undone, and you’re so close
Fingers follow, trace my lines
We’re alone, and you won’t let me hide
But I don’t want to.

(hook)The time is now
So hold on baby, hold on

(chorus)With eyes wide shut, we’ll share our souls
Lost in moments
And I’ve had worse, but never better
Baby someday
Yes Someday this could be forever

We find ourselves trapped in blankets
And you’re just so oblivious
To the way you move me, your touch it kills me
And I find you search me , with eyes wide shut

Oh the time is now
So hold on baby, hold on(x2)

With eyes wide shut, we’ll share our souls
Lost in moments
And I’ve had worse, but never better
Baby someday
Yes Someday this could be forever

Oh this could be forever..
Yeah forever.

This is a Bryan Adams song which is as under

Full Lyrics to 'SUMMER OF 69' By Bryan Adams.......

I got my first real six string
Bought it at the five and dime
Played it till my fingers bled
Was the summer of '69

Me and some guys from school
Had a band and we tried real hard
Jimmy quit and Jody got married
I shoulda known we'd never get far

But when I look back now
That summer seemed to last forever
And if I had the choice
Ya - I'd always wanna be there
Those were the best days of my life

Ain't no use in complainin'
When you got a job to do
Spent my evenin's down at the drive-in
And that's when I met you - ya

Standin' on your mama's porch
You told me that you'd wait forever
Oh and when you held my hand
I knew that it was now or never
Those were the best days of my life

Back in the summer of '69

Man we were killin' time
We were young and restless
We needed to unwind
I guess nothin' can last forever - forever, no...........

The 70s was disco. The 80s included tecno, rap, and hair bands. The 90s had grunge and pop country. What would you say is the latest popular genre of music?

I love the song. It goes well with the Flicka soundtrack and it's a nice song for his three daughters, Gracie, Audrey and Maggie.

Mickey! Mike! Davy! Peter! They were a real rip-off but they had some good songs. My earliest memories include watching their TV show. My older sister used to buy all the 16 magazine issues with Davy Jones, Bobby Sherman, etc. I guess a decade earlier it would have been Fabian. And 30 years later, Justin Timberlake.

Any other folks have any interesting thoughts?

I mean sure the lady has a voice on her but what the hell does "how come everytime I come around my london, london bridge wanna go down... like london, london, london???" mean anyway?? Gee, I don't know Fergie. Get a new bridge, I guess. Then to top it all off, she just tries WAY to hard to ryhme but makes no sense WITH the rhymes... One minute "her lips make you wanna have a taste" then the next minute she wants to "spray your face with mace" ...Then "she's go the base" ??? Ohhhhh!! That's some clever ryhme. We call that reaching where I'm from. This sad attempt convinces me that I could write better music in my sleep.

OK, i just potsed this befor but nobody read the title rigth and told me how to tune a 12 string.

The question was, somebody told me that you could turn a 6 string guitar a certain way so it sounds like your playing a 12 string guitar.

IS THIS TRUE AND DOES ANYBODY WANT TO TELL ME HOW TO DO IT ?
