I think your problem is that you are looking for a quick and easy solution like American Idol. It takes talent, time, and an investment to do anything significant in the music industry. Your best bet is to start by offering to write music for local artist and build yourself a portfolio (not being established means writing for free to start) then after you have established yourself as a songwriter you can charge artists to write music for them and build a career. If you thought you could write a song, and instantly make millions of dollars overnight.....welcome to the real world.
