has anyone still got a vinyl LP copy of the Rhythm Nation album. i'm 19, so i was 2 when it camne out, but i'm now into records and i have never even seen a copoy of it on LP, i hav the casette LOL. i've looked in about 30 thrift stores, and 6 or 7 record stores alas no luck. even on ebay there are like 3 copies, if that.

when do u think the 90s revivial will start? i'm not 100% but the 80s revival kinda started in 1998? but picked up pace after 2000. so the 90s will start in another 2-4 years? wat do u guys think.

Also how come u never hear spice girls songs on the radio? they have aboiut 10 or 11 really good songs, that sold heaps of copies: Wannaabe, Who do u think you are, Too Much, Stop, Spice Up Your Life, Say You'll Be There, Two Become One....thats one of the reasons i can't wait for the 90s revivial they will damn well hav to play spice girls!

Ever since I joined a jazz band, and a concert band, I've learned what truly amazing music is. Good music isn't just some catchy jingle with a couple of kids blaring on their overdriven guitars. (And I play guitar, don't tell me I know nothing) Or it especially isn't just a repetitive beat with some fast-talking rapper talking nonsense about money and cars and god-knows-what.

Now, don't get me wrong, I like modern bands, like Weezer, but I think good music lasts forever. Like Frank Sinatra. Doesn't anybody listen to that anymore? I mean, there's nothing wrong with rap, or punk music, I guess, it's not my taste, but the reason I don't like it it because there's just nothing musically interesting about it.

Not that a song needs a lot of instruments to be interesting, it needs to be something more than the everyday tune. What do you think?

When a real old school rock band like say, Buckcherry ,is mentioned on here it usually slagged. This is because we live in the video generation and the kids ( for the most part) have no clue what a real band is and unless they have a flavor of the month video they will not like it.So REAL music fans take note,If they are slagging it , it is more of an endorsement than a mark against the band and means you probably should check it out.
