we all labor in obscurity, until a question like this! good drummers are like referees and umpires.... you never really notice the good ones. the guy that played in the "house band" on supernova was awesome... but i don't know who he is.
This is a tough question, especially for me! Influences on meand they're ALL great!) are Phil Rudd, John Bonham, Chris Layton, Tiki Fulwood, Ed Shaughnessy, Charlie Watts, Butch Miles, Tommy Lee, Max Roach, Joe Elliott, Sonny Payne, Tre Cool, William Calhoun, Bill Bruford, Frank Butler, Al Foster, and Neal Peart... and any other drummer that makes his band sound better while providing a unique sound!
