I'm really struggling to think of anyone who became famous as a solo artist and then went into a group. Bob Dylan going into Travelling Wilburys but that doesn't really count, does it? Erm... Del tha Funky Homosapien going into Gorillaz...

Probably one of the most influential musical interests ever (in my life)... I've often just been able to relate (heavily) to a lot of Robert's lyrics... One of the greatest writers in history (I believe). Should be a novelist!!! "Pictures Of You" is my absolute fave! Also, "A Letter To Elise" and "Six Different Ways" and "Plainsong" and... I used to think "Eton Rifles" by the Jam was "He's a Right One"!!! Also Madonna's "Erotic", the first time I heard it I thought she was singing "Bill Oddie, Bill Oddie, put your hands all over my body" - I thought it was a joke song!!
