There has always been non-sense words in songs. It is just now the non-sense words are being outside of the song and as slang. Think about Journey's song Lights, the whole ending is na na na na na na. What the heck is na? Or even Brown Eyed Girl, sha la la la la la la la la la te da.

Songs these days try to incorporate different slangs and nicknames ppl use in daily language.Not everyone knows what they mean though.Also, I agree some songs have no sense of usage of words at all, some lyrics mean nothing.I hope the music industry doesn't progress on songs like this, which have been made more for commercial reasons, than for real music lovers.

i like the beats and music. most ppl don't even listen to the words altho u should. i listen to the words if it ain't right, i'll just get the music.

cuz modern pop music artists only care about selling records, not musical integrity... therefore if they get some stupid thing stuck in ur head, ur more likely to remember them and more likely to buy thier cd...

nope. people need to make up words or change the spelling/pronunciation of words in order to sound original. unfortunately, everyone's doing it. so where's the originality??
