I've been playing for two years, and about 6 months ago I started trying to write my own music instead of just playing covers. But I can never come up with anything good. Is songwriting a talent that you just have to have or do you get better with practice?

I have a Fender Showmaster, and I have a problem...one of the pickup wires (I think it is the positive) detached from the actual jack. All I hear when I plug in is static. At this point what do I need to do to fix this, do I need to replace anything and is this a job best left to a professional?

I have tried to do this before with a cheaper guitar that I own, but it was not a success.

I need more songs to download that are good. Please don't suggest something beyond inapproiate. Dont suggest kelly clarkson and lindsay lohan cause I already have them.
