I have recently gotten into psychedelic rock... ive been downloading songs by the doors, spirit, its a beautiful day, love, quicksilver messenger service. Does anyone know any other obscure and lesser known bands who have a similar sound? Preferrably from around the same time, but anything thats new would be appreciated also!

when a person or a band wants to write a song, where does it start? Does the guitarist make up some melody that the singer sings to, then the drummer and bassist fill in? Or does the singer write the melody first then the guitarist uses that to write the guitar part?

Bryan Mason is a guy at our school who likes to run, and became a foreign exchange student and goes to Japan every year or so. He is also a very good runner. He did not take this badly, he thought it was funny. He also wears t-shirts from past years showing that he won skiing races. His dad is a P.E. teacher at J.K. College in New Jersey.
