Think 90's, vh1 video. Catchy song. Artist possibly from the UK


This is what I can remember about the artist and the song.

This song was released in the 1990's.

The artist was a black male. He may have had a goatee or some kind of facial hair and semi long dreds possibly.

Everytime I think of the song I think of the word "wine". Possibly part of the title or chorus.

There was a video for this song frequently played on vh1. That is how I heard it.

In the video the artist plays different roles during the video. I remember the artist playing a bum on the street and other roles.

Whoever can help me remember this song I owe them big time.

I believe the song was popular and I keep thinking the word "wine"

I can hit high notes with ease (high C, high B, etc) but i go sharp once i start playing high notes. I am already in tune its just when i go above a high G i really start to go sharp. Anyone have any advice on what i could do or what i could practice so i won't become so sharp.

Is it just me or does the woman look like she is having a seizure throughout the entire video? I'm all for dancing, but my God, she took it way too far, I'm sure they had to call the meds a few times, she looked like she could pop a hip out of place! Do you agree?
