I only have fragments of it.
It starts out "Once upon a time" and later "I saw the sky in your eyes" (or something to that effect).
It's a love song, but not a slow one. A guy sings it, but I have no idea who.

Do you get up and aim for the stars when a singer hits her high notes and sensually vibrates the note?

Do you feel that rush of blood to your head like you're going to black out from an adrenalin high?

I have watched "Coal Miner's Daughter" and have ordered both of Lynn's autobiography's. I know that in her latest, the truth of Doolittle's womanizing and drinking were too lightly hinted upon before his death. Am too impatient for the books to arrive.

La Bamba (song)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"La Bamba" is a traditional song created in the Mexican state of Veracruz over 300 years ago. Influenced by Spanish flamenco and Afro-Cuban beats, the song utilizes the violin, jaranas, guitar, and harp, and is sung in falsetto. Lyrics to the song greatly vary, as performers often improvise verses while performing. However, versions (such as those by musical groups Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlan and Los Pregoneros del Puerto) have survived due to the artists’ popularity and have become the “definitive” versions. The traditional aspect of "La Bamba" lies in the tune itself, which remains the same through all versions. The name of the dance, which has no direct English translation, is presumably connected with the Spanish verb bambolear, meaning "to shake".

The traditional song inspired Ritchie Valens' rock and roll version “La Bamba” in the 1950's

Who would win in a giant sissy slap fight between these two man-ginas? Who would break down crying first? Who would be the first to write a song whining about the fight?

I recently worked on the Mark Anthony/Marco Antonio Solis/Laura Pausini concert production, and I was absolutely dumbstruck by one of Laura Pausini's backup singers/dancers. She's absolutely gorgeous! For the 3 days that I worked with Laura's production crew I couldn't take my eyes off of her. My problem is that I was on the local crew, as opposed to being on the tour crew, and local crews are not allowed to approach performers, so I couldn't ask her what her name was. I asked Laura's production manager what her name was, but he said that he didn't know because she wasn't one of Laura's people; she had been borrowed from Marco Antonio Solis' people. If anyone knows her name, I would really like to know it. She's the one with the longer hair of the two singers/dancers. She has blonde highlights in her hair.
