I only have fragments of it.
It starts out "Once upon a time" and later "I saw the sky in your eyes" (or something to that effect).
It's a love song, but not a slow one. A guy sings it, but I have no idea who.

Could this be a Moody Blues song - Once upon a Time?

Once upon a time, once when you were mine,
I remember skies reflected in your eyes.
I wonder where you are, I wonder if you think about me.
Once upon a time in your wildest dreams.

I'm not sure if I got all of the words of the refrain correct!

Maybe old Bobby Darin and Frank Sinatra song.......
Once upon a time
A girl with moonlight in her eyes
Put her hand in mine
And said she loved me so
But, that was once upon a time
Very long ago.

Once upon a time
We sat beneath a willow tree
Counting all the stars
And waiting for the dawn
But, that was once upon a time
Now the tree is gone.

How the breeze ruffled through her hair
How we always laughed
As though tomorrow wasn't there
We were young
And didn't have a care
Where did it go?

Once upon a time
The world was sweeter than we knew
Everything was ours
How happy we were then
But, somehow once upon a time
Never comes again.

Once upon a time there was a tavern...?
I know that one. Petula Clark sings it.
