In your opinion, is "emo" and "hardcore" the new "punk?" Remember when Green Day and Blink 182 were all over the place, then Avril Lavigne and Simple Plan came out and girls everywhere dressed exactly like them and claimed they were punk? It seems that those days are over and now the music industry has been taken over by emaciated feminine boys who scream and wear make up and have stylish hair. So...Is hardcore the new punk?

im making a movie and there's a song that i want to use but i cannot remember the lyrics or who it's by. it was used on a mastercard or visa commercial last year and is still sometimes played on tv. also it talks about going through the stages of life and talks about he and his wife get married and then they have a kid and so on and so on till they become old. any help identifying this song would be much appreciated. thanx.
