I am in an Elvis Tribute Band. I was never an Elvis fan growing up. I was born in '78, so by the time I was old enough to have my own tape player, Elvis was long gone. But, I recently had a chance to join an Elvis band, and I decided to take it.
I had to learn all these Elvis songs. I tell you what, I have lots of respect for him now. He was an entertainer. Everything was all about the show. He was great.
If you get a minute, check out the blog I've started about my journey so far.

Even the Prime Minister of Japan is interested in Elvis - what an ordeal it must have been for Bush to go to Graceland. Thank God for photo ops!

Elvis is the King of Rock and Roll - sooner or later everyone finds out about Elvis Presley !!! There was no one before nor will there ever again be anyone like him in the music world!
