i only saw silence of the lambs... was hannibal lecter a true person? did he actually eat people? and what is the new movie about

I just saw this movie last night, and I have a question, because I missed part of it (had to get up and go to the bathroom!)

After Jim and Grace kick the bad guy out of the car the first time, and they pull over to sleep, Jim wakes up from having a bad dream. He then goes out of the car and talks to Grace.

This is the point where I left.

When I came back, I saw that Jim and Grace were back in the car, and the car had been run off the road by a station wagon and it flips over and wreaks alongside the road.

Then later, they come upon the car, and there are two people in the car who had been stabbed.

My question is, what did I miss? Who are these people and were there any other people in the car (I saw a stuffed animal and a child's book, so I'm wondering if there were children in the car)? Why did the people in the car run Jim and Grace off the road?

Mine is cellular. It is about a women who gets kiddnapped because her husband saw something he wasnt supposed to and she fixes a broken phone and calls for help. The person she gets a hold of helps her.

I don't care for blockbuster that much, yes they are better in some ways than netflix, like you can report your movie returned the day you send it back, but with netflix they always send me my movies in the order I want them, well, 98% of the time anyway and I find the netflix site easier to use.

What does everyone else think of the two movie services?

I kind of remember this movie from when I was a kid. There were angels who could pause and rewind time. I can't remember anything else about the movie except that one of the angels wore a suit. Sorry for the fuzzy memories, but any clues would be helpful. Thanks!

Is ANYthing even truly scary anymore?

Today's younger audiences have been exposed to stuff that would've been banned 30 years ago. So most are totally desensitized to fright on film.

So what's shocking & scary to them??

The last original appraoch to horror I've seen in recent years was 'Blair Witch'.

Big budget horror (along w/ big names, & an MTV soundtrack w/ the hottest new artists) just doesn't add up to scary in my book...
