I tried to watch it with an open mind. I really did. But despite some decent acting, I just thought the whole thing was unconvincing, depressing, and didn't generate much sympathy for the characters or their situation. Was I the only one? Most movie critics fawned over it like it was the second coming of The Godfather or something, and everyone acted surprised when it didn't win Best Picture at the Oscars.

I am considering getting Netflix. I'm trying to figure out which program I want: 1, 2 or 3 DVDs at a time. Basically, I want to be able to watch as many movies a month as I can to get my money's worth.

So how long does it take to get a new DVD after you send one back?

Netflix.com says 1 day, but I think they're full of it. I figure if I get the 2 or 3 disk plan, I can send one back. Then watch the next one (or two) by the time a new one arrives.

What're your guys' experience with Netflix's timliness on delivery?

There's some movie, at the end (or near the end) a lady (I'm pretty sure she's British), says something like "But in the end, we all fall down". This is horribly vague, I know. I thought it was from 'V for Vendetta', but now I don't know. Even guesses are welcome. Thanks!
