I hardly think she got nominated for an oscar. It is still too early to know who got nominated. And if she did get nominated, then I am going to be pissed. If beyonce gets one, so should lindsay and hillary.

I think what you might have heard is that Beyonce was nominated for a Golden Globe, which she lost to Meryl Streep. If you check the link below, you'll see the full list of Golden Globe nominees and winners for 2007. Beyonce's nomination can be seen in the "Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy" category.
Like someone above me mentioned, Oscar nominations for this year aren't out yet.

The nominations won't be announced until 1-23. Beyonce was good but this year was a great year for strong women's roles and I doubt she will garner a nomination for best actress.
