i bought a new movie and opened it and realized it was a rated edition but i wanted the unrated edition. can i return it or exchange it?

It used to be that when we went to the theaters to see a scary movie we were scared because of the scary plot in the movie.. now we go to the movies and we get scared, but because of how terrybly badly made the movie was... I am talking movies like the Omen, See No evil, the Saw trilogy :), man those movies are not scary they are just gross, there is a difference between the two of them... Many of you may be quick to point out that maybe I dont like scary movies... but the fact is I do, movies such as the Shining, the excorcist, Psycho, Jaws, Silent of the Lambs, House of Wax and Dawn of the dead (the 1978 one) (a decently good movie:), are encrosted in my top favorite scary movies.. why cant they make more creative scary movies like this ones I mentioned?

I am watching the movie "The Last of the Mohicans" in my English III class. We are dealing with American Romanticism, and the characteristics of a Romantic Hero. I need examples from the film for these characterisitics:
1) Youthfulness
2) Innocence; Pure of Purpose
3) Sense of honour based not on society's rules, but on a higher purpose
4) Knowledge based on a deep intuitiveness, not formal learning
5) Loves nature and avoids town life
6) Quests for some higher truth in the natural world

Anyone have any ideas? Thank you much, any answers or ideas would be greatly appreciated. :)
